This black, low gloss wooden scabbard features three carved Kenji symbols on the front side and sports a traditional Sageo (cord) wrapping with a bull horn style which is used as a dual purpose for staying with the traditional look of the sword or for hanging. The black wheel spokes Tsuba (guard) design is a unique feature alongside the detail at the Koiguchi (scabbard mouth) which is also black in color with an intricate art detailed Habaki (blade collar). The Tsuka (handle) features a traditional black nylon ITO braid which can be found on many authentic Japanese swords. The most elaborate detail is located on the Kashira. Here you can see two dragons; one on each side of the swords Kashira. Overall Length: 39 inch
