The blade is forged from excellent quality Damascus steel, with a gently sloping drop point blade. It has been folded approximately 280-350 times, with an HRC of 54-56. This blade has been fire forged with high grades of 1095/15N20 steel folded over and over again to produce the exquisite wave pattern that only true Damascus can give. The wooden handle with stained red and black wood brass inserts and small circular emblem is nothing flashy, but it compliments the Damascus perfectly. The pommel and guard are both made from Damascus as well, and the brass inlay on the guard adds the perfect finishing touch.
