This unique blade has been hand crafted with a Damascus steel blade featuring a random flowing pattern. It reminds you of the swirls and ripples of a lazy river. Not to mention Damascus is world renowned not only for the beautiful patterns but its strength and durability. To compliment the blade this knife comes in a French Laguiole design. These knives are known for their elegance and flawless finish. This drop point style comes equipped with a nail notch for easy opening. The handle is constructed from bone, steel, and brass. It has been double walled, inlayed with brass, and supported with brass pins. The lockback mechanism is located on the spine just press down to release the blade. You will also notice Laguiole forged bee emblem that is characteristic to these knives. There is definitive reason as to why there is a bee/fly but some speculate it has to do with Napoleon himself. Included with this knife is a leather sheath that has been hand sewn and tooled with a basket weave design. It features a belt loop to slide your knife on your belt and keep it with you at all times.
