This means the metal was manipulated specifically for the intended purpose of hunting, fishing, and cooking. This Damascus is made from 1095/15N20 steel in a Random pattern. There are 180 blade layers that have been tempered at 54 to 56. The hand polished hand is made from real stag with a brass frame and brass bolsters. When closed the blade fits snug into the double walled handle. The free falling lever allows you to operate the automatic function by deploying and releasing the blade. This beautiful knife comes pre-oiled to prevent rusting.Overall Length: 8.13 Inches.
